All LAMAS art courses are designed for exploration and creation of the visual arts with emphasis on progressive artistic development. Our courses meet the California Standards for the Visual Arts. Each art class is limited to 10 students.

Art for the Young (Ages 5–7)
Art for the Young introduces students to basic art fundamentals though crafts, drawings and paintings and simple 3-D projects. Tuition: $12 per class

Sat. 1:00 – 2:00 pm

Art I (Ages 8–11)
Art I covers all art fundamentals, with emphasis on composition, color mixing techniques and application, size, and space through drawing, painting, and simple sculpture. Tuition: $12 per class

Portfolio Development (Ages 12 and older)
Portfolio Development refines painting and drawing skills, and explores composition and personal style. Students also develop craftsmanship and technical skills and develop a full portfolio of work. Tuition: $12 per class
