Classroom Upgrade

For 74 years, LAMusArt has been home to creative experiences in the arts for East Los Angelenos. Now, as we approach our 75th anniversary, LAMusArt is happy to announce its long awaited Classroom Beautification Project! After over 1 million arts education lessons and many years of wear and tear, it’s time to freshen up our classrooms to continue our creative impact in the lives of students for many years to come, but we need your support! We are asking for your donations in any amount – from $1 to $100 or more – to help us fulfill our project. We also have naming opportunities available for those interested in naming individual classrooms. We can’t accomplish this goal by ourselves, so please consider helping your friendly neighborhood arts school today and pardon our dust during the month of May!

NAMING OPPORTUNITIES

Naming opportunities in LAMusArt’s upgraded home are available at a variety of donation levels. Gifts of $5,000 or more qualify donors for special naming opportunities at our East Los Angeles facility. Recognition opportunities are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Names will appear on a placard prominently placed at the entrance of each room, regularly viewed by students, teachers, parents, staff, and other visitors. The donor name will also appear on our directory.

Please email Kathleen Jequinto at KJequinto@LAMusArt.org to reserve your classroom and develop a monthly or yearly payment plan according to the gift amount. Between the general foot traffic, events, and classes that occur 49 weeks per year, a lot of wear and tear has befallen our home. The general upkeep and maintenance of a property of this size and this age is multifold, and the renovation will allow our building to reflect the quality work we do.
