Brianna Rancour-Ibarra is a singer songwriter, vocalist, and educator born and raised in Los Angeles. She is both known as a jazz-influenced soul/folk artist, and a jazz vocalist. Brianna Ibarra started creating music on the piano at the age of 6 and started singing Motown hits and Beatles tunes at 10 at her grandparents house in City Terrace. She started taking piano and voice lessons at LAMusArt and now has the privilege to give back to the same community. She has a Bachelor’s of Music in Commercial Music with emphasis in composing and arranging at Azusa Pacific University. As a vocal performer, she has sung in such diverse settings as Disney Concert Hall, Ahmanson Theater, House of Blues, Hotel Cafe and many more LA venues. In 2013, she sang with The Monterey Jazz Festival’s Next Generation Jazz Orchestra and toured the East Coast, performing at venues such as the Montreal Jazz Festival Main Stage. In 2018, she released her first EP of original music, “Red Skies” and is currently in production for a group of singles for her solo artist project, “Brianna Ibarra”.
Currently, Brianna performs all over Southern California as a solo artist, a background vocalist, bassist, and keyboardist. She specializes in teaching pop, jazz, and musical theater voice and in helping students find their creative voice, like she found studying piano and voice. She shares her passion of teaching with her passion of performing and recording music.
