Jane Castruccio was born in Ventura County in 1943 into a farming family. She received her BA from University of San Diego 1965 and is a retired French teacher. Jane became involved with LAMusArt shortly after marrying Lou Castruccio and moving to Los Angeles in 1968. Jane and Lou have 3 daughters and 5 grandsons.

Pearl Odell, founder of the school, was Jane’s great aunt.

Jane is also on the Board of the Catholic Education Foundation since 1998.
