Dramatic soprano Melina Summer Adragna brings her powerful voice and magnetic stage presence to audiences across Los Angeles. Raised in East Los Angeles, she earned her degree in vocal performance at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at CSULB and has studided with teachers such as Donald Brinegar, Susan Hanson, and is currently studying with Reid Burton.

In 2026, Melina sang the role of Janet in Kenneth Wells' The Center That Cannot Hold at UCLA and appeared in Source Filter's production of Alice Riley. Her recent work also includes Dame 2 in Die Zauberflöte scenes with Angels Lyric Opera, solo performances with Source Filter Music at Heritage Square Museum and at the Los Angeles Music and Art Gala, and outreach as a soloist with Pacific Opera Project's Young Artist Education Program. She has performed roles such as the Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro and Mother Marie in Dialogues of the Carmelites, and has sung numerous scenes from operas such as Madame Butterfly, Les Pêcheurs de Perles, Die Zauberflöte, and Don Giovanni.

Passionate about giving back to the community she grew up in, Melina truly believes that "Anyone can sing!" As a voice instructor and conductor of the Los Angeles Music and Arts Youth and Advanced Choirs, she brings a teaching approach that is both technical and expressive, guiding students across multiple genres. She also teaches musicianship, music theory, and recorder with Musical Minds in the Hawthorne School District.

Outside of music, she loves spending time with her dog, training in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, dancing, and photography. Her deep commitment to community engagement reflects her belief in the power of music to connect and inspire.
