Noé Piña

Noé Piña is a mixed media and installation artist and entrepreneur. The concept of balance inspires his work. He works with found materials used in construction, using terracotta bricks, nails, and wood fragments to create sculptures and installations that address the complexities of maintaining balance, from personal to social to economic. Noé explores the fragility, the precariousness in things, nature, and systems and how the forces of pressure and stress remain in or produce balance. He is an alumnus of LAMusArt; he received a BFA from Otis College of Art and studied at Instituto Cabañas in Guadalajara, Mexico. He has exhibited at The University of Memphis Art Museum and a public installation for The City of Alhambra, CA. In New York, PRPG Galeria and Clavó Movimiento, in Mexico City amongst others. He has taught visual arts at The Getty Art Center and PUENTE Learning Center in Boyle Heights.

Noé is the founder and President of Piña Realty, Inc., With two locations (one in Alhambra, CA and the other in South Pasadena, CA.) and Piña Real Estate Academy. He also owns a vintage shop - Second Time Around, and SASS, Stockroom Art Space and Studios, in Alhambra, CA. Noé is passionate about business and art and looks forward to giving back and sharing his experiences.
