COMMUNICATIONS AND DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT

The Communications and Development Assistant is an hourly position that supports LAMusArt’s
communications and outreach efforts, including the development and coordination of content,
materials, and programs to engage and grow LAMusArt’s supporters. A successful applicant will
have a passion for the arts, interest in helping under-resourced communities, and be both a
collaborator and self-directed. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a passionate team
within a small yet influential arts education-focused nonprofit on a variety of initiatives to better
serve youth during non-school hours.

PROGRAMS & EVENTS ASSOCIATE

​The Programs and Events Associate is an hourly position that serves as the coordinator of LAMusArt’s
instructional programs and community relations activities. The successful applicant will have a
passion for the arts, interest in helping under-resourced communities, and be both a
collaborator and self-directed. The Programs and Events Associate reports to the Executive Director and
works closely with teaching artists and office staff.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing administrative duties for LAMusArt's programs covering all customer service and program administrative needs including handling mail, phone, reception, accounts, and other duties as assigned.

PRIVATE MUSIC INSTRUCTOR - VOICE

Private music instructor will teach private classes to beginning and intermediate students. They are responsible for creating and implementing private study syllabi with California VAPA integration. Instructor will support, host and attend student performances (Recitals) and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for students. 

PRIVATE MUSIC INSTRUCTOR - PIANO

Private music instructor will teach private classes to beginning and intermediate students. They are responsible for creating and implementing private study syllabi with California VAPA integration. Instructor will support, host and attend student performances (Recitals) and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for students. 

DANCE TEACHING ARTIST

The LAMusArt Dance Teaching Artist position will serve as the principal dance instructor and choreographer for LAMusArt’s non-ballet dance program responsible for introducing students to varying concepts in dance, rhythm and technique while simultaneously preparing for an all school dance recital in the winter and the spring. 

BALLET DANCE TEACHING ARTIST

The LAMusArt Dance Teaching Artist position will serve as the principal dance instructor and choreographer for LAMusArt’s ballet dance program. A successful applicant will have a passion for arts education, knowledge of diverse repertoire, interest in helping under-resourced communities, and be both a collaborator and self-directed. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a passionate team within a small yet influential arts education-focused nonprofit on a variety of initiatives to better serve youth during non-school hours.

VISUAL ART INSTRUCTOR

Private The Visual Art instructor will teach group classes for knowledge and skills in 2D and 3D art including, but not limited to drawing, painting, art history and printmaking. Instructor will create and implement small group study syllabi to LAMusArt Curriculum Framework.
