YPAB Members at Angel City Night for LAMusArt

On Friday, October 16 members of the LAMusArt Young Professionals Advisory Board (YPAB) hosted Angel City Night for LAMusArt at the Angel City Brewery located in L.A.’s young and hip Arts District.

This social was the YPAB’s first fundraising event in support of the newly re-instated LAMusArt Choir Program. Guests enjoyed drinks, snacks, photos with props, and the opportunity to win an array of raffle items that included gift certificates from local businesses.

LAMusArt visual arts teaching artist Zeina Baltagi was also on-hand leading printmaking workshops for all event attendees to enjoy and partake in. The printmaking workshop was only a small glimpse of the type of creative learning and lessons LAMusArt students engage in weekly.

Richard Graham, Events Chair for the YPAB, used his emceeing skills and charm to the delight of all in attendance. Jasmine Ako, Chair of the YPAB, added that the event marked the advisory council’s one year anniversary and the culmination, thus far, of all members’ hard work and dedication to LAMusArt.

With proceeds from even ticket purchases, raffle tickets, and drinks throughout the night, Angel City Night for LAMusArt garnered incredible support for the Choir Program and, most importantly, recognition of LAMusArt programs and students.
