On September 8th, 350 people gathered in Grand Park to experience the LA Youth Park Takeover!
Hosted by CTG and Grand Park, the LA YOUTH PARK TAKEOVER featured Roger Guenveur Smith in an excerpt from “Rodney King,” as well as spoken word, monologue, dancing, singing, and musical performances by Diego Aponte and Choir students from The Los Angeles Music & Art School.
The event was emceed by the Style Channel’s Joel Steingold and featured special guests COLORS LGBTQ Youth Counseling & Community Center, Inner-City Arts, LAArtLab and Sessions LA’s DJ Pajama Beatniks.
