Student Spotlight: Tiffany Cruz

Tiffany discovered her love of music at age eight when she played violin for a local mariachi group. Tiffany then found LAMusArt and began to work on her music skills by taking violin and singing lessons. Through her voice lessons at LAMusArt, she discovered her true passion for singing. Even though she still performs on violin with her mariachi group, The Plaza de la Raza Youth Mariachi Group, Tiffany has performed as a vocal soloist and as part of mariachi groups in multiple venues throughout Los Angeles such as City Hall for previous mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, The Hollywood Bowl, and at the Broad Stage. Tiffany has also recently expanded to singing solo in churches and other special events. You can catch Tiffany on the hit TV show “El Factor X” on El Mundo Fox singing in front of popular artists such as Belinda and Chino Y Nacho. Tiffany continues to be a great and loyal student of LAMusArt after almost five years and a Jack Gard Music Competition winner.
