Unfazed by the heat, LAMusArt’s Tuition-Free Music Ensembles took over the Courtyard Stage for this year’s Summer Concert on Saturday, August 23rd! With nearly one hundred guests in attendance, students were able to showcase months of hard work to a full and enthusiastic audience.
The evening included wonderful performances by the Youth Orchestra, String Ensemble, Advanced String Ensemble, LAMusArt Choir, Advanced Choir, and the Jazz Ensemble. From classic compositions like "Romeo and Juliet" by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky to childhood favorites like "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride" from Lilo and Stitch, this summer concert offered something for everyone to enjoy!
LAMusArt thanks our amazing teaching artists: Isaac Johnson, Rubi Castillo, Melina Adragna, Nicholas Del Valle, Emily Nastelin, and Isaac Lopez for preparing students for this concert. We hope to see you at the next one!
