Beatriz Garcia brings nine years of Non-Profit experience, recently graduating from Antioch University receiving her Masters in Nonprofit Management. After graduating from Cal State Northridge in 2008 with a degree in Business Management she immediately began in her career with SHPE as an assistant in the National Meetings and Events Department. Beatriz quickly climbed the ranks, becoming an events coordinator, before earning a promotion to manager of the department in 2009. Her dedication to the SHPEfamilia was quickly recognized by the leadership, which earned her the promotion of Director of Operations in 2014. When not in pursuit of visiting all fifty states before turning fifty, Beatriz enjoys glistening through yoga classes, taking in many a movie at her local cinema or relaxing at home, quietly reading a Malcolm Gladwell paperback.
