Daisy Salas

Daisy Salas

Daisy Salas is the Program Coordinator of the Creative Writing Program at Antioch University Los Angeles. Aside from acting as the primary liaison between the program, students, and faculty, Daisy has experience in student recruitment, fundraising, event planning, and program evaluation. Prior to working at Antioch University, Daisy worked as a Research Coordinator with the Disability, Rehabilitation, Engineering, Accessibility, and Mobility (DREAM) Project at California State University, Los Angeles. The goal of the project was to find ways to motivate people with spinal cord injury to exercise and stay active. As a Research Coordinator, she worked closely with participants, built relationships with partnering nonprofits, and planned community outreach events.


Daisy received her MA in Nonprofit Management from Antioch University and her BS in Kinesiology from California State University, Los Angeles. Daisy is currently the Chair of the LAMusArt Young Professional Advisory Board and is thrilled to be a part of an organization where she can lend her skillset and be a part of a creative community. She is a creative at heart and plays music with her partner and bandmates in a band called Conductora. She currently resides in East Los Angeles with her partner, son, cat, and dog.
