Page Updated: January 6, 2022

Dear LAMusArt Family,

Like most of you, we have been tracking the exponential rise of COVID cases in Los Angeles County with growing concern and have made the difficult decision to delay the start of our year from Saturday, January 8 to Saturday, January 15, 2022.

In addition to our delay, all students and staff will be required to have proof of a negative COVID-19 test in order to come onto campus on their first day back.  LAMusArt will honor LAUSD tests, PCR tests and antigen tests taken 5 days or less before your return to campus.  If you or your student does not have access to testing, you may schedule a free testing appointment at

We did not make this decision lightly and we thank you in advance for understanding that the safety of our students, teachers, administrators and community will always be our priority.  To see what our safety guidelines are, please watch our safety video here
