Nine-year-old Kassandra R.U. has quickly become one of the busiest and brightest young artists on our campus. LAMusArt's Teaching Artists Take the Stage
James Hober, Ben Zurier, and Juan Gamez perform as a supergroup. On Saturday, November 15th, Los Angeles Music and Art School hosted its very own Teaching Artist Showcase in which teachers took turns showcasing their talent in the ballet room. Despite the rain, guests enjoyed an evening of varying musical talents, ranging from vocalists to pianists and even a trio. Emma A., 8, has been part of LAMusArt since September 2023. She first joined at age six for Pre-Ballet, but her curiosity for music showed itself early on. “I wanted to do piano, it’s fun,” Emma says. LAMusArt Youth Choir takes the stage! On Saturday, October 18th, LAMusArt’s Youth Choir and Advanced Choir haunted the Courtyard Stage for “Melodies in the Moonlight,” a concert filled with Halloween-themed music to fit the season! Students dressed in their best costumes for this evening, filled with spooky fun, including a raffle with fangtastic prizes. Julian, 16, first joined LAMusArt in 2021 at the age of twelve.
